The key now is to get to the first games with no outbreaks and healthy teams. The players and coaches have to be more careful/cautious than they have ever been.

They had it come out 2 straight days they wouldnt play. Today it was very definitive. I'd think one of the conference now planning on playing would be more of a reconsider candidate

ACC and SEC will fall in line and play if no other negative news comes out. They just can't come out too soon and make it look like they aren't prioritizing player safety over dollars since their conferences probably stand to lose the most by not playing.
Personally, I'd love to see ACC, SEC, and Big 12 establish their own playoff. Have an 8 team playoff with the top two teams in each conference championship game getting invites and then the next 2 highest ranked teams among the 3 conferences make up the final two slots. Conference champions get 1-3 seeds, runner ups get seeds 4-6 and at large get the final two seeds, 7-8.
I think that would make it worthwhile for all and very intriguing matchups.

how this virus was made so political from the start.
