If we were to actually take to heart what these yahoo's say during basketball and baseball seasons, we would believe that we had the best FB team in the country. I personally don't believe a thing that they say bc they are only saying what they hear others saying and they repeat it!!! We may not have the best team today, but after the summer workouts and fall practice with top coaches on both sides of the line of scrimmage, I do think that we will have ONE of the best FB teams in the country if not the best!!!

What's the opinion of T-netters, how good do you believe our 2025 FB will be???

Agree with you that any forecast published 4 months before the season starts is basically clickbait.
Personally - I thought we were a gimmie for the 12-team playoff last year, based not on the annual preseason hype but the huge amount of talent we had on defense. We all saw how that worked out.
This year - I believe we will have a pretty clear vision of the season after the LSU game. Until then, it's all opinion and speculation.
Just spot the ball.

With all the talk about Tom Allen as a defensive coach, I think that we will see huge improvements with our 2025 defense, especially for the ones that knew and saw that Goodwin didn't have the experience, nor was he even close to being a qualified DC on a team at the same level as our FB program. Our 2025 defense will be leaps and bounds better than the D we saw last season.

There is a big difference in two words that are sometimes used in the same sentence, those two words are proven and unproven. When Dabo hired Venables, Goodwin, and Allen, two of those were proven DC's, and the other was unproven bc he had never held that position in his lifetime!!!
