This is the best news given all the speculations ... If he misses a few games because of it (Sprained Knee) so be it. Rather he heal properly then force a too early return.

WHEW, that is great news! Hope he heals quickly, not sure he can play this Saturday, but if he could he could then probably sit out the next 2 games with Radford & CSU and be ready to play sc on 12/22

I’m not a doctor but just saying a sprain tells you nothing other than it is not a complete tear. Depends on which ligament is sprained (ACL more severe than MCL) and what grade of sprain. A Grade 3 sprain is a near complete tear and may still require surgical repair. A Grade 2 sprain can require 4-6 weeks of rest/rehab. I would standby for additional information and hope for the best for Marquise.

If it was a grade 3 sprain they would probably call it a tear, and he wouldn't be listed as questionable for the next game.

Yeah well nowadays accurate injury information seems to be in short supply due to privacy laws. And no if it is not a complete tear it is still classified as a sprain.
