I feel like we have a lot of our guys in baseball end up transferring to the coots. Is that just me or like has it been happening a good bit the last few years? They can have our scraps but it’s weird to me they seem to wanna go been chickens. Go Tigers!!

This is at least the 6th guy I can think of off the top of my head that transferred down a level to them just in the last 5 years or so.

That's if he actually is able to throw strikes, lowest strike% of anyone who threw more than 10 innings. Samol can do what he did, and has shown ability to throw upper 90's.

What do you want him to do? He transferred here because he was probably sold on more innings than he got. EB picked up pitchers in the portal and he was probably told to look elsewhere or his $$$ was taken away. I doubt leaving was his first choice, so he went to an instate school where his financials probably make the most sense. Until the coaches and universities commit to the players for multiple year deals, this is where we are. Coaches don't want that because then their evals and coaching become too important.

Honestly, I do not think any of our players that have gone there have significantly improved their team or significantly hurt ours. That would be the only thing I would be worried about.
