Good for those kids, USF and Coach Scott. I hope the grass will be greener for the players, but the rules still only allow 11 players on the field at a time.

Hopefully with Jeff grabbing as many of the portal players out of power 5 programs will help him to be successful at USF. Jeff was my favorite assistant coach that was promoted by Dabo!!!

Of course he is. Clemson backups are better than many of his starters, so it’s an upgrade for Jeff. The question for us is who are we gonna get that’s better than who we have? How many of these guys in the portal want to come to Clemson just to give us depth? Apples and oranges.

He probably recruited these guys before leaving Clemson so he already knows them. Has to increase the comfort level when taking someone from the portal. Wonder how many other players that he knows less about has he transferred in? That would be a better comparison to Dabo’s use of the portal. And most guys in the portal are probably a lot more likely to see the field more at USF than they would at Clemson, which is why most of them enter the portal in the first place. Still apples and oranges.

will get overlooked. But why invest all the time and $ on recruiting high school kids if they're just going to transfer anyway. That's 9 kids this season (1/2 a recruiting class) he essentially has recruited for other schools.

I was astonished to see that Scott has won three games in two years. After all the buildup, he is not long for this world.
