Top college QB for this century should be none other than Vince Young. Baker Mayfield at number one is just another reason why ESPN blows.
Vince Young willed his team to the national title with the odds against him against ESPN's greatest all time team, USC. The Trojans had not one, but two Hypesman winners on their team and were loaded across the board at every position.
Not only did VY will his team to that championship, the season before he did the same in the exact same stadium to Michigan.
Cam Newton was a one hit wonder. DW and TL were at the top several years and each also won national championships.
Mayfield? Meh. I would go with a Joe Burrow before I'd go with Mayfield. He wasn't even the best OU QB in this century. What a joke.

Cam Newton would've dominated for as many years as he wanted to. A one-hit wonder implies that he had one good season and the rest were duds. Dude was a really successful NFL QB

NFL success has nothing to do with top college QBs and for 1 and a 1/2 years there was nobody else like VY in college football. Nothing against Cam, I might have him at #2. But, Young was the top college QB. You'd also have to put in that mutt Johnny Manziel in spite of his being a dirt bag.

Watson wasn't that great Lawrence was great. Boyd was better QB than he was. Though Homer Jordan best black QB Clemson has had. To be honest Cole was better QB and man than Watson was cause he played even while hurt.

Remember after the 8-0 start last year when that graphic was bouncing around social media comparing DJ's stats to either TL or DW in their second seasons starting after eight games? It was meant to make us believe that DJ wasn't dog **** and that he was every bit the QB that these LEGENDS were.
