get there. I think we finished in the 20s in most metrics a year ago which was the lowest our defense has been rated since 2013 - Brent's 2nd year.
Wes has all the pieces this year and it's time for him to prove that he's qualified for the position.

If this Clemson defense played for UGA, Bama, tOSU, Michigan, LSU, etc. they would be #1 right now & we would only be hearing about how great they’re going to be.

I don’t know about Michigan being #2. So all of a sudden they have a defensive pulse. I believe Clemson will be very good if they can stay healthy.

after reviewing last year. in just the ACC championship game the Tiger defense gave up a butt load of yardage to North Crapolina. Thankfully they bent but didn't break. Injuries were more than any team could handle for sure. But there were times that sandbagging was in play and or players not wanting to get hurt headed to the NFL. Really need to see it all being left on the field. Hope the defensive coaching staff will be more aggressive. We will see when the action is turned on.

i dont see us cracking the top 10. maybe the 12 spot. that secondary needs help and the DL never got consistent pressure even with nfl talent. LBs, tho... those guys should be pretty solid

Clemson Defense biggest problem last season was DJ. Even Alabama’s defense couldn’t last if their Offense couldn’t make first downs
