The real question why should anyone care who he thanks on Twitter? I'm sure he's already thanked the appropriate people. Let's move on. Hopefully it was a good split for both parties. Because DJ was just not a fit here, maybe the ultra qb gurus at Oregon State can make his brain match up with his eyes and arm talent.

DJ is an incredible young man who gave his all as the hardest working QB at being a professional according to Dabo.
Hopefully the work begins to payoff and he makes the NFL. Look at Kenny Pickett, remember how bad he was his first 2-3 years, he was a top pick because of his senior season, I hope DJ can be the best QB the NFL has ever had.
He has an incredible arm & determination so let’s pray he figures out where all of us fight most of our battles & weaknesses, between the ears.
Praying you find the peace to play and live like a kid, just fling that ball DJ & stop worrying about being perfect, lead with your heart!

DJ was a mixed bag

As a freshman, he came in and preserved our path to the CFP with two great games against BC and Notre Dame.
As a sophomore, DJ was complacent, lazy and failed miserably. He was awful. That was totally on him, despite the excuses many here made for him.
This past season, he adjusted his attitude and learned from last year's blunders. We saw the best DJ could do, which was decent but definitely not good enough.
Hopefully Oregon State can continue running the ball successfully and set up DJ for easier opportunities through the air.
Good luck DJ! 2021 was very bad but at least you returned and gave it your all this year.
