Comparing to our last QBs, 11th seems to be the tail end of the better QBs competing, and I would assume that there were some really good QBs that chose not to compete at the elite 11!!!

I live near his high school and saw about half his games last season. What you have to remember is that heading into last year this guy was on virtually no one’s radar and outside the top 100 QBs.
He had a significant jump in performance his junior year and I expect another big jump his senior year. Given his focus was initially baseball and only started playing QB 3 years ago his rise is impressive.
I’m really excited to see him in Death Valley and believe he will surprise a lot of people.

Raw but insanely talented. Big arm and great athlete.
High end potential if he puts it all together. A lot of us have been arguing that he’s underrated. I believe this will be reflected in the final rankings at the conclusion of this class.

One thing we should be grateful for, that is he has Tajh Boyd as his assistant QB assistant coach. IMO Tajh was a great college QB that had plenty of brains to go along with his talent...

Definitely agree. The kid's driven and probably has a bit of a chip for the naysayers. Plenty that weren't highly touted... like Joe burrows and Brady. If I'm not mistaken Leon, he's familiar with the offense we run. Unlike a DJ5.
No, he won't be a tlaw or dw4 that's ready to take the reins mid season... but watch out 2027. Reminds me a lot like that Maryland QB that we had no answer for in the 80s. Believe they called him boomer and he went on to have a pretty good nfl record.

He is currently 20th ranked QB in the 247 composite rankings.. So ranked 11th in a good region seems about appropriate on the ranking....

He’s 11 overall is what that is saying. He made the final elite 11 so 11 QBs will now compete. This kid was a diamond in the rough when he committed but willl end up being nicely ranked! Go Tigers!!

But it does read that way so who know all I know is he can really excel up in recruiting if he does good in the elite 11 finals.
