Wait, WHAT?! We struggled mightily in run blocking. Cuse was able to generate incredible pass rush with three or four man fronts. Not to mention all were under 276lbs. Sure, one sack. That was due to Cades incredible speed. He got the ball out quickly as well. There was significant improvement in o line play but not line of the week good.

Nah. Sometimes a QB has to do more than stand there. It's part of the game. If he can't do that then he is playing the wrong position at the wrong level.

Please remind us, you played the QB position when and where bc, if a guy hasn't been just terrible at his job, it's really hard to tell somebody what they should've been doing unless you've been there and done what they do yourself with everything around them happening as fast as it really happens.
Personally, I believe for this to be Cade's first season as a starting QB in a different style offense than the one he saw when he was standing on the side lines as a backup, he has done a pretty good job with handling all the pressure that comes with the position even with a seasoned QB playing in a new style of offense. I don't believe any player deserves pats on the back when it hasn't been earned, but IMO, Cade deserves any pats that he gets, and then some bc every D we have played against, their #1 job was to put as much pressure on Cade as they possibly could bc he is a 1st year starter at the QB position at the power 5 level that is considered to be Big Boy college FB....

Great recognition for Coach Austin and the Hogs up front!

Had to deal with a lot of run blitzes, 5 and 6 man fronts, 10 defenders within 10 yards of LOS.
Good job as well by Riley and CK in play calling and execution.

I guess the grades didn't include run blocking.

It's official, I know NOTHING about grading OLs. I thought pass blocking was pretty good (i.e. fewer wiffs), but I thought our run blocking struggled.

Exactly, quick to jump on the negative bandwagon when metrics are bad; but not so eager to accept positive metrics. So So Sad

I'm not a "Fire Austin" guy, but Mayes and Howard (Primarily Mayes) looked like liabilities all game. Consider me one of the ones perplexed by this award, but other than that I have seen growth along the line.

Must be talking about the University of Clemson. 😂
A Clemson O-line has never received a rating like this.

They allowed like 13 TFLs and was getting bent over the DLs knees on runs! What in the world does PFF look at!? I mean congrats to the Clemson OL but I am baffled at this.
