Hate it for him. I believe this is a writing on the wall thing. He outgrew defensive end, so hopefully this isn't a playing time thing.

We all hope these guys have great success elsewhere. Always remember, you might be a better player at Clemson than you will be somewhere else because of the talent that surrounds you. You need look no further than Chase Brice to see how your teammates affect your play. That same could be said of a number of guys who looked for greener pastures. Name a guy who left Clemson and became a star elsewhere. I can’t think of one but I bet some of you can.

We need Orhorhoro, Reuben, and Capehart to step up. Maybe, we can switch Tayquon Johnson to play DT. Darnell is too light due to diabetes. Tre' Williams needs to get healthy. Page is big and will be needed this year. We really need one more DT commit. Please go back to a 4-3. We struggled with the 3-3-5 with both the pass rush and the run. We were predictable and undermanned in certain packages. We need to pray Skalski and Spector return.

Payton Paige will earn some playing time as a true freshman. He is a very talented player. I was delighted to see him commit to Clemson. I’m sure he was high on the list for Mack Brown. I’m assuming that he has already enrolled. Anyone know for sure?
