Well, the fact that the only guy that picks the Tigers to win also picked Michigan to make the CFP doesn't say very much for the credibility of this panel.
Why don't they just poll the first four callers to Finebaum's show?

I wouldn't expect much support for any program threatening the cash cow.

Makes me think their producers told them to pick differently from each other.

Is that a joke? I'd absolutely have Oklahoma as one of the four teams most likely to make the playoffs. I expect that it will be Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and the winner of the Big 10. Oklahoma returned most of their stellar offense and should be better on defense (I'm talking going from bottom 20 to top 50, not a top 10 defense). They lost Murray and Marquise Brown, who were incredible last year. However, Oklahoma is as loaded at wide receiver as we are, and they've got Jalen Hurts now, who's had six months with the Sooners QB whisperer. Jalen is a phenomenal QB who's played at the highest levels and won. He went blow for blow against Clemson as a true freshman and almost won in 2016. He led Bama over Clemson in 2017. He saved Bama last season against Georgia. And now he'll be playing in a conference with 2 teams in the top 50 in defense instead of one with nine teams in the top 50 in defense. They're only genuine competition in the Big 12 is Texas, who they've dominated the past decade, that I don't buy into at all, and who likely has to beat them twice to keep them out of the playoffs.
So why wouldn't you pick Oklahoma?

I meant to win it all. They have no D. That’s why, easy answer.

I think they are going to be more surprised when Bama doesn't make the CFP.

so why give a lot of credit to a bunch of guys only have a chance to be 25% right. And that's the best they can hope for - either 25% or 0%.
