Kinda reads like Crump is in negotiations with Disney to acquire TNET. LOL.

I switched to Hulu just because Comcast didn't carry ACCN. Now that I'm off cable and saving a few hundred a month, there's zero chance of me switching back to Xfinity.

Both are better products than cable of any kind, folks not switching are just lazy.

This one isn't lazy. The wifey watches channels that YTTV doesn't carry (hello, Hallmark). Plus, streaming isn't as easy or convenient for switching channels or finding programs. As they say, if Momma ain't happy, life is miserable.

That could be a winner if it wasn't for the second issue.

For $150+ I learned to switch channels...you do get used to it, but agree was toughest part of the switch.

That or hating to change to something new that they don't know much about. But for me, Spectrum would have to make big drops on what they charge for cable tv before I would ever consider using the again. Cable TV do have their it's a little better than streaming, but it's not over a $100 busks a month better!!!

I need to check that out. Just had a buddy raving about Youtube TV. I think the knock on Hulu is that there is some lag occasionally. It's also about 5 seconds delayed for live sports.

I'm paying more than a hundred a month less with Youtube TV, over what I was paying Spectrum cable TV, and that's even with me paying spectrum internet $79 bucks a month so I can stream Youtube TV!!!

Everyone in my family is amazed by that fact until they learn we were paying $340 for Xfinity. We had a ton of packages. Once I started looking for options with ACCN, my wife and I sat down to figure out what we wanted to buy ala carte. Today we're right around $150 per month with Hulu, along with Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO Max.
Cutting the cord is demonstrably cheaper than cable. And, really, F the cable companies. They had a great run sticking it to us all good and hard for the past 40 years. Can't wait until they get shouldered out of the internet business as well.
I'm a little bitter. But I'm $2,400 richer every year.

That's exactly my feeling about the cable companies and the way they just rip people off, and the people that they are still ripping off, and it's bc they are afraid of changing to something they know nothing about within the streaming world. Well for those that are still clinging to the cable companies, But streaming is really easy, and if I can say that, it must be really easy!!!

I was paying 100- 150 for DTV ... Basic +sports Got sick of them when AT&T took over and followed the rest of my family members and started streaming. Best move ever!!! I decided to go with FUBO and I love it.. has the all the channels plus ACCN, SEC, ESPN, ESPN2, and FOX sports ... I will never go back to cable.

Glad the network will bring ACC more money but

as a former Comcast customer, who was treated as a second class citizen when they fell all themselves to add the SEC and its backup channel, but couldn't be bothered with the ACC until forced to as part of a bigger package, COMCAST CAN GO TO ####. DIRECTV gives me more sports, costs a little less, and even with the temporary weather issues I have less problems than I had with Comcast.

I have no problems with Comcast. Their network never goes down. My wifi is lightning fast, dvr second to none. If I switch to youtube I will save $11 a month. Not worth it.

With what all I have access to, the savings aren’t all that for switching. Also, speed surfing/switching back between games and not being on delays like my friends who switched are …. is well worth it.

those like myself who keep cable are not lazy. the ones who have paid comcast over $300 a month are the lazy ones. i call comcast every year and get their best package. i have their top internet, all the chanels i need and netflix and i pay $200 and i have no leverage with them because they are the only game in town. i hate all these frickin streaming options and i will save pennies if i switch.
