I remember Alabama had Jalen Hurts mimic Deshaun in practice when we played them the first time in January 2016.
This is the year they beat us with Jake Coker. Jalen was a mid-year enrollee and had just gotten to campus a few days before practices started for the national title game.

we've played in the ACC. We've seen teams as good as Ohio State and LSU. We have FAR more snaps against a defense as good as Ohio State and LSU than anyone other than LSU or Ohio State. We have defended offenses as good as LSU or Ohio State every day. It's called practice. We practice against ourselves, and we're pretty darn good. The competition we play doesn't matter. You hear players all the time saying games are easier than practice, and that's because we practice against a National Champ offense and defense.
If our offense has a good day in practice, they just beat Ohio State/LSU's defense. If our defense has a good practice, they've defended and held LSU/Ohio State.
If we practice at the highest level, where best is the standard, then it doesn't matter who we play. We win.

for any 4 players in college football. The young man is unlike any I have ever seen. Watching him throw live brings a smile to everyone. He sends laser beams out that are just mind boggling. Last arm I saw as strong was Elway in his early years. Lawrence has a heart bigger than his arm! Win or lose on the 13th I am as proud as I can be! That OH&4 St team we beat on Saturday was better than ANY team Saban has ever coached! Go Tigers!
