I totally agree, as long as you are putting teams away that you should be beating by double digits.

Coaches said they had to pull Bresee & Davis from practice
Sep 29, 2021, 1:11 PM

|
DJ said that "We've all seen on the practice field that execution has not been a problem," but over camp Dabo said that they had to pull Bressee and Davis because the offense couldn't get anything done with those DTs on the field. I wonder if DJ means that they're executing well against the practice team. It's hard to imagine that they could beat the 1st team defense.

Great view by DJ. Real Estate is about location, location, location and football is about execution, execution, execution. A huge part of our problem on both sides of the ball are the penalties and if we are going to execute, they have to stop killing drives or giving the opponent a first down.

I have never in my life seen such spoiled cry baby jerks as the know it all , this is unacceptable Fire everyone, trash the player Clemson Fans this year! Thank God it’s not all and probably not most just a vocal minority! But trashing DJ is just classless. Let’s Go Tigers! When the team and DJ turn it around please don’t jump back on the band wagon !

I would be able to accept his "coolness" better IF HE didn't look so lost out there with such obvious weaknesses. Save the "little adversity" speech and SHOW US that losing as bad as you have, BOTHERED YOU! I really could accept losing in a well-fought game, but you guys look as if you shouldn't be playing at all! And THAT shouldn't be tolerated by anyone on the team! I wonder how the Alabama players accept defeat? Well, we saw that after the whipping we put on them... the next year they were foaming at the mouth to prove themselves. Where is that fire in this team... "a little adversity"-- Give me a break!

Like Marklee, I don't want to see composure and cool anymore. I want to see anger and fire. I assume that it is going on behind closed doors but it would be nice to see it for ourselves.

One of our annual goals is out the window and several others are in jeopardy because of "adversity".
Actually, I take it back: if you don't learn from adversity, then there's absolutely something wrong with it.

A little adversity is being the 40th best offense in NCAA.

The 121st out of 130 is embarrassing with the talent we have. It’s so bad that there should be no pride in overcoming it. They should simply be able to overcome it easily, or not be in the situation at all.

See, this I what I have been trying to get across for some time now. By coaches' and players' standards, adversity, i.e. losses, help us. We improve by them. For instance, this loss is going to make us better in future games. So, let's lose all our remaining games, and at the end of the season, we might just be the best team in the nation.

DJ in the Spring Game!

Just a note: I went back to watch the spring game... DJ moved and performed entirely different then... No double pumps... used his eyes to scope the entire field and threw decisively... no stiffness in his movements and throws. Bring That Guy BACK!
