Clemson has the BEST coach in college football. Look at his record. I’ve never seen so much negativity posted, how do think players on team and future teams feel after reading all these NEGATIVE comments. I read this board daily all except negativity, My suggestion GO FIND another team to be NEGATIVE with Let Dabo do what he has done and that is WIN So proud of players and coaches. Go Tigers 2025!!!!!!!

Show me proof they read this board. Never seen any quotes from current, much less future players about TNet. Our comments here are for one another. Not players, coaches or admin. Quite frankly, if I thought they spent time here, I’d speak even more negatively about them.

Agree, Tink!
Folks are emotional and that leads them to last out in these types of spaces. Also, negativity tends to get more engagement.
One takeaway is that people care a lot and maybe express it poorly.
Go tigers!

I too agree about the negativity. Was once considering becoming a paying member but, the constant bitterness that is kicked around over and over and over is beating a dead horse and has made me reconsider paying.
And for those of you saying you have never seen evidence of this affecting the players, you are very naive and narcissistic. This board is free to anyone who wants to read it and I am sure that at some point, players, their parents, or their friends have seen it and share with them. On top of that, I am pretty sure none of you have even had the opportunity to talk to any players to find out if they are bothered by the oft hurtful and negative comments.

Dude you are out in left field and not even in the same game. The point you are making is stupid. Just because he responded to a conversation doesn’t mean it affected him negatively which is what we are talking about.
If a player can’t take a fan talking about how bad he played or the mistakes he made, how in the world can he handle film room on Monday. Jesus you people are soft as charming tp.

Not adding anything except a bunch of virtue signaling.
If a player or a coach has a bad game, for example, and it’s noted and debated on here is just honest discourse and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

For the most part, I respect and frequently agree with what you say here. The thing that is annoying is, it is usually the same people beating the same drum over and over. I understand disappointment and I understand wanting to be better. But, spouting the same things is not ever going to change things that you have no control over. I use this daily.....
God, Grant me the strength to change the things that I can, The courage to accept the things that I can't, And the knowledge to know the difference.

Reality is that in the last 4 years Dabo is under 500 against teams with a winning record. It is fact that the recruiting has tanked and that he is not the coach he was 4-5 years ago. Results also prove that he has made some wild , gambling calls for coordinator hires and we are paying the price now for it defensively. Dabo hurt Clemson with his anti portal stance and we behind our rivals and ACC foes now because of it. Clemson had a Massive talent gap on the ##### and the whole ACC 4-5 years ago, and he have gave it away almost overnite being stubborn about the portal. I too love Dabo but I am also rational enough to see that he has hurt Clemson with his stance over the last few years. This is not pretty or optimistic but it is sadly enough the reality today.

Dec 25, 2024, 3:54 PM

In addition to being top 10 in wins during our fall from “elite”, we’re one of two teams with 9+ wins over the last 14 years!
Nothing has “tanked”. We have the dudes to compete for a national championship, as long as we shore up the defense. Defense cost us all 4 losses this year, but we retain the bulk of those dudes and have added more through the portal and recruiting. Again, fix the defense and the sky’s the limit. Offense should be elite next year, and of course we need the defense to take a major jump.
All things considered, we’re not that far off and can easily make that jump. Your take is wildly negative and over exaggerated.

Jesus people my goodness… yall love to point to that stat… top 10 in wins since blah blah blah.
Bro we play in by far the weakest of the power 4 conferences. Nobody cares about beating up on BC/Wake/NC St etc.
If we weren’t top 10 in wins since whatever year you want to use then their would be some truly serious issues.
What some of yall are failing to acknowledge or realize is the talent is slowly but surely drifting away whether by portal graduation or the draft.
This years recruiting class is the start of a major decline that’s coming unless we start playing the game off the field the way everyone else is.
Getting the DE from Purdue is nice and absolutely fills a need but we needed more than 1 DE and 1 WR. Dont talk to to me about scholarship numbers.
I can name 30 players off the top of my head that have ZERO business being on scholarship at Clemson. Get rid of the dead weight and make room for guys that have real talent and are ready to play and contribute now.
Some of you are just blinded by the win total but that comes from playing in the sorry ACC. But the real downfall is coming. We better pray Cade is coming back and even if he does… after next year we’re in a world of trouble bc Vizzina is not it.
I’m telling you now… Vizzina is not the guy and that’s not just speculation on my part. We’re about to start learning the hard way whether it’s next year or 2026 but it’s coming unless some serious changes are made and that all rests with Dabo.
You have to use NIL to acquire real talent now… not just use it to retain. I’m sorry I know most myself included don’t like it but that’s just the way it is. And yes we have the money to compete.
No we can’t go toe to toe with Texas or A&M player for player but we absolutely have the money to pick and choose certain positions to go after hard. Dabo has just refused to do that to this point. Unless he makes some serious changes… bad times are coming and even playing in the ACC won’t help us then bc others like GT/Duke are spending and acquiring some serious talent.

No you didn’t try the strength of schedule argument when we play in the ACC… lol wow
Bro you do realize the 2/3 SEC teams we play every year are the ones bringing that up right?
Your SOS shoots through the roof when you play Georgia/Texas and now this year even SC.
Anyone that’s trying to use strength of schedule as an argument when we play in the ACC is flat out… out manned in this argument.
You’ve got to be kidding me… I don’t care what those rankings say.

Indiana also hasn’t won 10 games in what? 3/4 decades? Of course they should celebrate 10 wins.
So that’s the standard we’re comparing ourselves to now huh? Indiana? Wow how we have fallen… might as well be comparing us to the cluckers.
10 wins should be the MINIMUM for us considering what we’ve done and who we are and what we pay our coaching staff.
And oh yeah once again… until further notice… we play in the ACC.
Once again… by FAR the weakest of the power 4 conferences.
SMU strolled right in here year 1 and was a 56 yard FG away from winning the conference. You think they would have done that in the SEC? B10? Or even the B12? Absolutely not.

I don't have a problem with anyone stating their opinion. It's the absolute lack of civility by those who throw hate and vitriol against those whose opinion's they don't share that most bother me. They come across as ignorant and intolerant bigots whose goal is to thwart free speech for anyone who dares to express a point of view different from theirs.
