I've been a fan for 43 years. I remember HORRIBLE Clemson teams when it literally only mattered if we could beat the Gamecocks each year.
The past few years have been unreal. I remember the 2015 regular season when we were undefeated, then won the ACC, the beat Oklahoma to go the championship game for the first time in 35 years. I cried a little bit in front of a bunch of my friends, it was unbelievable.
Then I remember our rematch in the championship game the next season in Tampa. My brother and I were there to see that unbelievable final drive that ended with Renfrow catching the game winner with seconds left on the clock. Easily one of my top 5 memories.
After that game I remember thinking "#### I'm glad I got to be a part of this because it will never again." The 2018 season and God Emperor Trevor proved me wrong, we absolutely destroyed everyone in our path his freshman year, 15-0 and had our 3rd stringers mopping things up in the 4th quarter against Alabama in the NCG.
This drop-off stings and we very well may not right this ship, but I'm grateful for these memories that I'll always have. Go Tigers!
Re: Time to reflect; On your last sentence, what stings even more than the drop off is the fact that our Head Coach has done nothing to change this drop off. I don't mind losing, but when you refuse to change your quarterback, or start calling the plays yourself, or devise a new playbook then that tells me either our recruiting has dropped off or he is unwilling to make a coaching change.
