USA vs the Canuks,were entertaining. Three fights very
quickly. From what I seen, our boys won the game and the fights.

Best thing about hockey, let them throw down the gloves and get after it. Refs step in after one man is beaten so it does not get out of hand

I've been to a few minor league hockey games. It's pretty entertaining even though I know little of the game's nuances.

There are always fights, and the weird thing is I usually can't tell why they chose that particular moment to fight. They're banging into each other constantly, pushing and shoving, and for some reason, sometimes they just start fighting. Maybe somebody talks too much trash? I don't know.

Do not understand hockey. Just a game where people are allowed to fight for no reason.

They're sent to the penalty box following the fight, so "allowed to fight..."...

It is the players way of enforcing the unwritten code of conduct. Similar to baseball when the throw the fastball inside to brush back the batter as well as when they intentionally bean ball the batter.
