Hope that is the Tigers opponent. By then they will be healthy and should be a great game.

Probably will be a boring matchup. I expect Caleb to opt out as he is going to be getting a nice contract. No reason for him to play at all.

Agree, and probably several others. A 7-5 team that played an easier schedule than us... which was pretty weak. Any team they played that remotely had a D with a pulse, they struggled to score 20 points. Don't let stats fool you folks. This is a pitiful team.
Guess I was hoping 1. Play in the gator, and 2. Play a team that has at least a pulse on D. All this does is continue to play like the last 4 games, and that's let the D eat, and play a conservative offense scheme. I'd rather play lsu, Oklahoma, Penn St. At least a team that would push us to beat them offensively.

They had one of the hardest schedules. But best team they beat was Arizona.

What a mess there will be if Bama beats Georgia, Iowa beats Michigan, Louisville beats FSU, Oregon beats Washington and Texas wins. If there are no undefeated teams and the top 8 all have 1 loss, I would love to be a fly in the committee room.

You don't need to worry about Iowa beating Michigan

There's a better chance that Iowa gets shut out than wins.

Yep. Iowa struggles to score against mediocre teams. They have averaged 18 ppg. Their defense is great at 12 ppg. Couple this with Michigan's stingy defense and it should be a low scoring game, maybe something like 20-7 Michigan.

Right, Iowa is dead last in offense in the entire nation. Pretty boring team to watch and I love great defense.

To me, would be more interesting if undefeated Mich, Wash, and FSU all win conferences, plus 1 loss Texas as Big 12 Champ, 1 loss (to Texas) Bama as SEC champ, and 1 loss (to Bama) UGA are fighting for 4th spot

If we can win the bowl game. Puts us right in the thick of the 16 team playoff.

Probably two years from now. Bye week doesn’t make sense from a competition standpoint.
The reason we need more than four is because the committee can’t guarantee they get the best four teams. The next criticism will be they can’t guarantee they give a bye to the best four teams. Should have been 8, then maybe 16 in a few years.

We were either going to be forced to play our former QB at Oregon State or Riley's brother at USC.
Either way, the powers that be feel it prevalent to drag east-coasters out to the west-coast every year for some dumb-ass bowl in the most expensive place on earth to travel to...for a 3 hour game.
Who comes up with these annually stupid ideas?
