He is alleging all of the players Duke lost in the portal were tampered with. That would include Christian Reeves, who came to Clemson. I hope this guy has some sort of proof if he's going to throw allegations around like that. And not proof like the family of O'Neil McBride had, which was almost none, but proof like the FBI had during the Zion Williamson investigation, or like Girard III had when he was shoved on film. Without proof like that, I'm going to choose to ignore this round of accusations.

a basketball player leave Duke? Shirley we don't "pay" more. I suppose it could be PT, but their entire team left, so his PT would have been up to him to earn.
That article speaks volumes about the state of college athletics too - Duke's roster will be almost completely different next year - 7 players transfer out, 6 or 7 transfer in...

my dad worked for the Pentagon when conducting Covert operations, so they had to give my entire family security clearance to prevent his bravery from being a crime when he got home; He occasionally left his work on the dining room table. I will look into this as well, I remember seeing reports on Williamson's bribery/ extortion scandal.

That made me laugh by thinking of my neighbor in 1995 when he called me freaking out because 2 men with black suits showed up at his door with my picture and asking questions about me. I would have warned him if I had known, I was going to have a government security clearance for my new job. Then when I showed up to work, I found out there was some top secret double naught stuff going on in that office.

I’m not sure why the Duke HC would say this publicly. It certainly knocks them down a peg. Who would have thought the day would ever come where it was implied that Clemson stole a basketball player from Duke lol.

But now that there is money in the sport, Institutions with wealthy alumni like Clemson rule the recruiting landscape, and they are going to have to accept their new place as a team that can occasionally take down a ranked opponent, but for the most part finishes between 8-10 in the conference. I cannot say I can relate to this feeling, so I have no empathy here, more that I feel sorry for them.
