Thinking back to coot pitcher Gainey's prancing around the mount the other night

I can't honestly say I've ever seen anything so childish at any level of baseball...Dixie Youth, JV, Varsity, College, Minor League, MLB...never. Even in his high school days (eldest son of RB also lit Gainey up for a HR), he was dewshy, but not at the level we witnessed at Segra Park.
The coots continue to set the bar lower in just about everything they do.

I was at that game at Segra park and it was so satisfying to see him give up that Walk Off HR too! This game will humble you in a heartbeat. I was saying the other day how I've never seen a team so cocky at times during a game that they didn't even have the lead in...from that pitcher to the Petry HR in the 9th that didn't even tie it or give them the lead, but wanted to talk $#!% rounding the bases lol...bunch of nerds

The gay pony prancing was allowed because the Columbia-based umps were coots.
That kid certainly found the right fit for himself in that classless cesspool.

Saw that. Very appropriate HR trot in response to the coot.

Not defending the cawks, but college baseball players as a whole have been 'acting the fool' for several years now.

I would be very embarrassed if Bakich let one of our pitchers do that over and over.

If you remember, when Jack was the head coach, he would not let the players have beards or long hair!!
But that was one of the criticisms that he did not allow the players to keep up with current trends.

im fine with the kids having fun out there, but there needs to be some sort of regulation to it. Like last year when Cam got ejected for trash talking, and previously in the year a UT player flipped off people rounding the bases after a homer. But its a slippery slope if you leave it up to each umpires discretion. There has to be some solid rule against "celebrations" if you will. For example, the NFL allows celebrations, but there are rules. the only one I know of is that you cant use props. not sure if they are others.

It seems I remember the announcer saying he was a transfer from another school.

If so it sure didn’t take him long to become a full fledged coot. Is behavior is the definition of a coot.

No, he hung up the bat after h.s. Oldest son of RB is in his second season of D2 golf at another university.....he didn't get offered by Clemson, unfortunately, but is doing extremely well where he's at. Happy to say he's still a Tiger at heart but wanted to pursue his dream of playing collegiate golf.
