If you get a BYE, you should be rewarded with an on campus home game.
The 1st round games should be your traditional BCS Bowl neutral site games.

.... getting a bye is your reward. They don't want to also give you the home game. So they're looking at it as an "either/or" and not a "both/and" situation. And I agree. You get a bye, or a home game. Shoudldn't have both.

I love how we kept the format for 10 years before making changes the first time... now they seem to be set to make changes on a yearly basis.
The playoff is poison at this point.. its a mess... and is going to create one of the more confusing times in the history of college football when we look back at this because its going to be different every year.
4 was enough. It meant something. It was hard to do. It should be hard to do.
Now they are on the verge of going to 16 and we are going to have 8-4 teams in the playoff.
Ugh.
