Redshirt sophomores or younger. So, from true juniors to redshirt seniors we only have 18 scholarship players. So, assuming the redshirt sophomores or younger players stay two more years, we would only have 18 scholarships to give in 2017 and 2018 combined. Obviously, there will be some attrition between now and next fall, and that will determine the size of the 2018 class, which will likely be similar in size ( with some additional attrition) to the 2017 class, around 15-17 players. The 2019 class should be our next big signing class.

at any given time....correct? Next year will be a small class as well unless there is a lot of attrition. If you want to feel better take a look at the talent on our roster and note the fact we are in the Championship game for the second year. And, take a look at the 13 we do have committed. Quite impressive.

signing a 13 man class means you have a lot coming back. You can't just sign 30 kids every single year. That means they are a young team with a lot of talent waiting in the wings.. chill out.. please

Bama has taken 101 recruits in last 4 classes, we've taken 83. Doesn't make sense
'14 Bama took 25 we took 22
'15 Bama took 24 we took 26
'16 Bama took 25 we took 22
'17 Bama has 25 (so far) we've got 13 (so far).
How do they stay under 85.
Do they shoot 4 stars to make room for new 5 stars?

It's called "stock pilling" it happens at a lot of programs and not just for football. It's really getting bad in baseball.
