to Clemson. After attending a smaller public high school where the textbooks were "free", seeing the prices on textbooks at the Clemson Bookstore was truly a "Holy $H!T" moment.

I usually tried to buy used books and then sell them back when finished. Unfortunately I seemed to take classes that were discontinuing the textbook at the end of the semester and I would be stuck with the book.

They had a pretty good selection of record albums at el cheapo prices in the 60s. (Yes, Grasshopper, music once came on large plastic disks....)

I am loving these pictures. Graduated in 1967 with BS in Mechanical Engineering. I played the trombone in the Fighting Tiger Marching Band. I keep looking to see if I show up in any of these pics. Keep them coming.

Only 2 things in life are guaranteed - death and ridiculous tuition. You can choose jail or even no income over taxes.
