Definitely feels like a loss. That was pathetic. About as badly played last 4 minutes as pee wee bush league.

The new guys taking over for the 4-5 dogs we lost to MLS last year have had flashes and done ok, but obviously there is quite a drop off from their level and the guys they've replaced right now. And this is also having a negative effect on the play of our returning starters and the overall vibe and chemistry of the team. I think Andema is the most athletic keeper we've had in the 40 years I've been watching Clemson Soccer, but he hasn't had the greatest of starts this year. He'll come around and the ruling guys will progress. Also two red cards in the first six games!! Come on!

That was a shame to lose focus that late. We had done an excellent job of keeping possession and burning clock after the red card.

I'm still most pissed about that first goal. Keeper should never be in a position where that can happen. As well as our sweeper should have been there to back him up when he originally swatted the shot away. That was on a level with the Washington keeper whiffing the ball in the national championship game a few years ago. LOL. Well get better.

It sure felt like a loss when you give up a goal with close to a minute left in regulation...Holding on to a 1 goal lead for as long as the Tigers did after scoring at the 53:09 mark to go ahead is a very very difficult thing to do...and Holy Cross was 2-3-1 coming into the match

Yeah. I'm afraid the tie with them will be an excuse for the NCAA selection committee to dock us a few spots come tourney time. HC was picked eighth in there conference preseason. Maybe they'll end up having a good season though. Grrrrrr. We were so close to making up for that stupid first goal we conceded and escaping with a win.
