Switzer hardley ever calls a fair catch, I guess he is confident he can make a play, but almost looked like he was baiting for a personal foul. We still had to tackle the guy, and with him crouched down like that and TJ green's momentum,it would have been very difficult for him not to hit him in the head. So now Green will have to sit out the entire first half against Oklahoma. Our D takes a huge hit with him not on the field

Why does Green have to sit another half?

The rules call for the player to sit out the remainder of the current half plus one more, is my understanding.

A Player sits the rest of the current half and the next half. Since it happened in the first half his suspension was up at the end of the game.

I think that only applies to unsportsmanlike penalties, but I could be wrong.

2 unsportsmanlike penalties get you ejected

2 PF penalties gets the other team 30 yards and you a butt chewing and possibly a benching from your coach, unless he's still busy chewing out the punter.
