These formal statements of gratitude are not just thrown together like how us TNetters write our posts. Formal messages from powerful state leaders are done carefully so that their thanks are properly prioritized.
Here’s the formal statement of thanks from the leader of Israel’s opposition (to Netanyahu’s) party:
“Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid and National Unity chairman Benny Gantz welcomed the hostage deal. Lapid said the “entire country is holding its breath” waiting for the return of the Israelis kidnapped by Hamas. Both of them promised political support to Prime Minister Netanyahu for implementing the agreement.
“I want to send a huge thank you on behalf of the entire country to President Trump and his team, to President Biden, to the Qataris and the Egyptians, due to whom this is happening and without whom it would not have happened,” Lapid said.

The give away here is that Trump was recognized as the first entity. Biden was listed next, followed by others. Recognizing Trump first in the hostage release ‘thank you’ message was to recognize Team Trump’s primacy in getting the deal done.
