Did you guys hear Hanafin has been getting reps at safety? I bet Kelly has been seeing some DB reps also. Stellato was described as gimpy, so I’m betting a turned ankle. He’ll be back to play soon enough.

Do you want to win again or not? Do you think the teams like Uga and Bama, who we used to be neck and neck with, would keep him? He’s not that good, and is occupying a roster spot that you could give to someone else that can help you win. That’s the idea isn’t it?

You can't take his scholarship. FBS football scholarships are good for 4 years.
And you shouldn't take his scholarship, that's completely wrong and immoral. He got hurt playing football.

Sorry you are wrong here. Scholarships are year to year and schools can choose to pull them.
However, Dabo has his own rule (nothing to do with NCAA) that they are good for 4.
And to answer to poster asking if I want to win… no not like that. Maybe I’m in the minority but I don’t want to cut kids loose bc they get injured or aren’t as good as what the coaching staff thought when they evaluated them. Maybe I’m wrong but I hold to the belief that screwing kids over at that age is wrong.

What if the lack of performance is because he is not dedicated to the team, doesn’t put in much effort in the weight room, and doesn’t study the playbook? I’m not saying that has happened to us, but what if?

Anyone else remember the kid several years back from Greer or Hannah who committed to play I think linebacker and had a stroke and Dabo still honored the scholarship. It’s who Dabo is and why people love him. He understands that some things are bigger than football and he also understands what good publicity is.

Yes I remember that guy. Cant recall his name but Dabo did the same with Destanfano OL from Dorman and the OL from Boiling springs. Kid from Boiling springs first name was Noah I believe.
