I seem to recall DBs and linebackers tossing him around more like a sack of potatoes.

We used to have 150lb wrestling dummies, they got abused but they always smiled! If Stellato stays that positive then he has a chance!

The kid has talent, and I wish that he wasn't going to wait for anything to get the surgery. He could have the surgery soon as possible, get healthy and spend the last part of the summer getting stronger and putting on some muscle weight and show in fall ball what an improved Stellato can do. Getting stronger and putting on muscle weight that would help protect from being so easily injured....

This was a coaches decision. He missed last spring and they wanted him to get some spring work in before surgery.

That has been the case of many of our receivers for a few years now.

As they say at the next level, the best ability is availability.

I don't know what that kid could be thinking bc all the coaches already know what the value of a healthy Stellato would mean to this team come the start of the fall and season. A very smart Stellato would have that surgery done within a week after being injured. We all know and I would think that he knows that the spring game is no more than a glorified practice/scrimmage.
We need a totally 100% healthy Stellato this coming fall, and if he wants to show what he can do from the slot, I'm absolutely sure he would be given that chance during fall ball. IMO, this is not the best choice that Stellato has made for himself, and I would be surprised if Dabo hasn't told so.
There is a possibility that he could worsen the injury, plus nobody ever knows exactly how long it takes an individual person to get 100% healthy after a surgery and doctors tell their patients that every person is different when it comes to the time that it takes to become 100% after any surgery.
Personally I wish he would've schedule his surgery as soon after he knew surgery was involved. Each to their own though I guess, but I think that Stellato showed last season what type of receiver he could be if he was 100% healthy, oh well!!!

Prior Tnet article stated Dabo & Riley wanted Stellato at Spring practices

to implement new offensive schemes and plays. Therefore, they requested Stellato delay his surgery. That's a fact maybe Tnet staff can confirm DavidHood®

Your post sounds like you know more than the Clemson football and medical staff. I think I am going to go with their judgement regarding Troy rather than yours.

So Brown, Randall and Stellato all hurt to some degree. Williams and Tuner coming back from injuries. I hope this once again isn’t a year where Drew Swinney is forced to start. We need some different strength and conditioning with the WRs

Curious what strength and conditioning you do for an injured foot. I'll hang up and listen.

He is a tough dude and plays hard. He is the real deal if he can be healthy. They say that is the best quality of any NFL player, availability to play.
