Finally... the "round robin" experiment was a total failure like everyone with a brain said it would be.

something like that.
Maybe the bottom two teams play the first game and then you go from there.
Who knows, this was probably Swofford's idea.

and the Clemson administration for their resolve in fixing the financial and competitive slight that the 9-game conference schedule placed on us and the other major football programs. With an every 3rd year rotation with Notre Dame, we can easily schedule a significant OOC opponent home/away the two years in between, rotating around the annual USuC game as well.
This is a good day for Clemson.

If not, Tennessee or Florida would be good bets IMO

Florida won't play out of conference road games outside of Florida. Florida State and Miami are the only teams they'll visit. Heck, they even drag Georgia to Jacksonville every year.

I've actually been thinking alot about this whole scenario playing out.
Here's how I see it. We all know we're gonna play SC every year.
2013 and 14- UGa 2015- Notre Dame (home) (guess but looks likely to me) 2016 and 2017- UGa or Miss St or Arizona or KS St. (I think UGa would be everyone's first choice, but all of them seem to have it open) 2018- Notre Dame (away) 2019 and 2020- I hope we can get Ok St. back. From what I can tell they still have it available. 2021- Notre Dame (home) 2022 and 2023- from what I can tell we pretty much have our choice. I'd love to see Tenn or FL or A&M. At this point I think they have it open.
got the dates from fbschedules.com
I love to see the ACC going back to 8 games though. Clemson fans obviously love to see the quality OOC bc we'll need to have them with the new BCS format.

Future opponets I would like to see!!

of course Notre Dame, which will happen now.
But I wanna see a LONG TERM every year contract with GEORGIA!!!**** No way we shouldn't be playing them every year, right. Always loved that series. Back in the day, that was always my favorite game.
On the other side...what about the Gators?(Fla) What about Tennessee? Or Oklahoma

The only thing about that nowadays is that if we play UGA

every year then you can kiss OOC games against teams like Auburn, Texas A&M, Missouri, etc. (BCS OOC games I can remember off the top of my head that's not USuCk)
Playing UGA every year and USuCk every year means those are the only two BCS (or whatever it's gonna be called in the playoff scenario) teams we will play OOC, along with two FBS/non-BCS schools.
I've enjoyed the past few years of going to Auburn, Chick-fil-A kickoff, etc, but at the same time I think we should play UGA at least 2-3 times a decade.
If it was 3 years I'd like to see a home-home-neutral format like we did with Auburn the past 3 years with the neutral site maybe being rotated between the Georgia Dome and Charlotte?

Baseball Tourney is too many games. Pitching will be used

up before the NCAA Regionals. I can't see Jack and the other coaches liking this format. Due to using up the pitching staff, I have always felt it should be run like a basketball tourney.....one and done. That way you get a winner w/o everyone using up their pitching staff before the NCAA's.....IMHO
