So who's the #1 receiver next year?

I think Peake is the obvious choice but Mike Williams has showed a lot of potential this year and should flourish with more playing time next year. Also don't count out Hopper or one of the very talented newcomers.

With the talent we already have and the talent coming in

it may be hard to differentiate. We are stacked at WR.
Losing Sammy and Bryant is big, but the talent we have will step up.

I keep hearing we don't have depth there...

We lose: Sammy Watkins Martavis Bryant
We have: Charone Peake Germone Hopper Adam Humphries Daniel Rodriquez Mike Williams
We'll get: Kyrin Priester Artavis Scott Demarre Kitt Jeffrie Gibson Jae'lon Oglesby (may play WR)
What do you guys think?

and Priester may be a starter from day one.
Yes, we will have a drop-off losing Sammy and Martavis, but it won't be as bad as the doom and gloom crowd would lead you to believe.
I'm more cooncerned about replacing Catman than our receivers.

Humphries will likely be called upon to do some of the things Watkins did.
He has flown under the radar because of Hopkins/Watkins, but he has been productive and knows the offense.

Seckinger's height will likely be called upon to replace Bryant as well.

Will all my fellow tiger fans stop not giving Humphries any credit... Peake will be #1 and Williams #2 Humphries #3 ( His as earned it ).. The question will be who will be the 3 to 5 other WR in the rotation.. because Hopper needs to step up !! or Green, KP, Kitt, or Scott will be him out !

The issue is not depth. The issue is experience and talent. For three years - we have had a receiver that concerned the other team. Have also had "chemistry" with a QB. The trust in knowing what the receiver will do to allow back shoulder throws, reading defenses the same, etc - is more of a concern - for me anyway. I have not seen great route running, double moves, "snatching the ball out of the air with their hands", from our backups yet. Hopefully, they will get there quickly. Some never get it - look at all the teams that recruit higher rated receivers and yet have issues. We have certainly been spoiled between Nuk and Sammy.

We will be better. We will have much more balance offensive and will need to relying on one player to be huge. RB and TE will used more as they will be as a whole. I love TB and what he did but we now have 3 elite qbs that will make us for forget TB. Teams knew TB was the go to guy for short yds. I could call it 90% of the time.

oops need not rely on one player like a sammy. As you get more balanced and great talent at all positions you can mix it up a bunch.
