I only watched the second half but what was going on with our running game today? 58 total yards and that includes Cades 50 yard TD run.

backups having to play OL but still should have let Haynes or Jr have some carries to shake it up.

mafah is as slow as peter woods right now. dont know what the problem is if he is hurt or what but Dabo refuses to give another back a carry for some stupid reason. He was running people over early in the year,now he just runs out of bounds short of the 1st down over and over .

The coaches refuse to play anyone other than Mafah, and he's clearly hurt or something. He runs slower than DJU did

better recruit some backs because Mafah is graduating and the others are sure to hit the portal because they havent played at all in weeks now. Mafah wiffed numerous times today in pass blocking so not sure why he never uses the other back or backs?

Ya it's mind numbing. Usually the excuse is pass blocking, but they can't use that after the whiffs from Mafah.

I’m not making excuses but the entire left side starters were out and then Thurman went down on the first play. The O-Line was a patchwork effort today. Not only was the run stopped but Cade had 14-15 hits and at least 5 sacks against. By the end of the game I was surprised Cade was still standing in there.

Not only OL injuries but Pitt has a better run defense average per game than we do. It never hurts to give credit where credit is due.

True. Both O-Lines were destroyed today. Pitt only had 88 yards rushing and gave up 8 sacks.
