Duke loss made it hard to drop Auburn down because they have been so dominating lately before that Florida loss. Alabama was close to being #1. Auburn plays Alabama Saturday.

Honestly the SEC is absolutely loaded this year. Hard to argue that, especially by the ACC (2-14 in the ACC-SEC Challenge).

Auburn has lost two games. One to number 4 in the nation Florida and it wasn't that bad by 9ts. Auburn has beaten 8 or 9 ranked opponents. We have only beaten 2 ranked opponents and have had some ugly losses. I think we are under ranked, but I can see the difference.

Losses don't matter at this point of the season. The only thing that matters is the "perceived" ranking of the team your playing.
Example: A huge win over a number 50 team is no better than a huge loss to a number 5 team.
I know it's stupid, but that's the world we live in now.
