The only poll that ultimately matters will be the one that unfolds in the weeks of voting prior to Nov 5th and Nov 5th.I don't think Biden can defeat Trump, but Trump is more than capable of defeating himself.

A huge reason Biden is currently doing poorly is because people are believing their non lying eyes and ears that Biden is not up to the task of being POTUS and if reelected will be in even worse shape over the next few years.

It's a shame that this is the choice most will make.

Both men should be rejected, Biden for not being capable and the country being run by shadowy nonelected figures pushing a much more left leaning agenda than anticipated under Biden and Trump for his antics after the election and dismissive attitude towards the Constitution.

About where I'm at.

I do think Trump's got a couple weaknesses people haven't yet really focused on. The first is that Trump, not Biden, is by a fair bit the more cognitively impaired - he's showing outright dementia, Biden just has problems with his memory and tends to glitch a fair bit. That's not the same at all. Donald is not the same guy he was in 2016, and that tends to show up especially in rallies. He's always been prone to word salad because frankly he's dumb and has difficulty clearly grasping or expressing concepts, and then is so narcissistic he tries to BS his way through it and ends up looking even dumber, but what really turned my head around is that what he's doing now isn't just word salad anymore, it's evolved into outright phonemic paraphasia - he's substituting similar-sounding words for other words. And what comes out is pure gibberish, and multiple times through his rallies you see confused and concerned-looking Trump crowds go silent and sort of start shuffling around uncomfortably. I've seen Alzheimer's up close - my grandmother died of it - and that's absolutely what it looks like to me. That's going to get harder and harder to hide the more the spotlight focuses on Trump the candidate and not Trump the defendant.

Donald's also at a massive monetary disadvantage, and he could also be a convicted felon by then. But it doesn't matter how bad his cognition is or how many convictions he has - he's not going to lose his base, which means he's not going to be replaced. Whereas Biden's just the horse various interests are riding - if he starts stumbling, the Dems will just do an open convention, put their heads together, and come up with a candidate they think can beat Trump. A moderate like Pete Buttigieg, for instance, would absolutely shred Donald in an open election, probably by as much as ten points.
