SCAR, ACC Champs, Sugar Bowl...

We must keep winning and continue to have a special season, but just consider what the results could be and our "choices":
1) First and foremost beat Maryland, NCSU AND THE COOTS! Must beat SCAR this year!!
2) FSU loses to VT Thurs night (it could happen)- We then play in the ACC Championship Game. With a win we go back to the Orange Bowl to play, most probably, Louisville or Rutgers. Potential 13-1 season!!
3) FSU wins out, we get an at large BCS bid to the Sugar Bowl against either UGA or Florida, Potential 12-1.
Nice problems to have, which option is the best for the program?

I'd much rather have an ACC Championship, even if it means

playing Louisville in the bowl. Hey, who am I to judge, Louisville is ranked ahead of us.
Take the ACC Champ, and get a BCS win. Easy choice for me.

I'd always take the ACC title and auto bid.
Never know what is discussed behind closed doors.
Win the ACC and that's two straight conference titles, a championship the program can lay claim to and zero worries on bowl selection night that we're one of the "prettiest girls at the dance" for BCS execs.

You left out a very real possibility.

Beating SC and still get snubbed by the BCS. Wind up as the first ever 11-1 team in the Chick-fil-A bowl against Texas A&M.

ND is in. If they're in top 14 they're in.
Oklahoma and the PAC-12 teams are who you should be looking at.
Root for Oregon State, Stanford, USC and UCLA to lose a game or two each.
Also root for Louisville and Nebraska to win out to keep a Non-AQ out.

Doesn't the Orange Bowl get first pick of the at-large teams

this year? If so, they don't have to take the Big East champ.

As much as I value an ACC title, I am worried that we will

be less focussed on the coots if we have an ACC title game the following week. If I had to choose between 1)beating the coots and going to the sugar bowl. or 2) losing to the coots and having an ACC title, I would pick beating those b__tards every time. Especially this year!
