To me, that sent the message that conference championships mean nothing. Much the same way that Dabo started out trying to de-emphasize the Coot game, then found out that it DOES mean something to a whole lot of people. He had to quickly change that philosophy. I believe there will be a lot of discussion amongst Clemson administrators about the handling of that ACC Championship Game in this offseason.
