and other Clemson naysayers is to beat Notre Dame better than Ohio State beat ND. That is a common opponent. If Clemson played Ohio State or Michigan's schedule this year we would be undefeated as we are with our schedule.

when they were an undefeated juggernaut and solid CFP candidate.
When we go up there and put them away in two weeks it will be met with a universal collective “meh” ...
Especially if Syracuse has an easy time with them this weekend ... which I honestly hope happens, because I despise the way Notre Dame has been allowed to abuse their affiliation with the ACC.

Thank John Swofford for the cuddling of Notre Dame. They have gotten great benefits from ACC connection in all other sports but their FB entitlement $$ with NBC.
Swofford and ACC member school Presidents/Chancellors also got us locked into the underpaying ESPN contracts until '35. it was a bad deal in both cases.

The difference is we play them at their house in an away game, Ohio state played them at home and the first game isn’t always a best reflection.
If Notre Dame was coming to CLEMSON after a bye, it would be much worse for them, going on the road in the cold makes it tough.

That wasn't his argument though. He wasn't saying Clemson couldn't be undefeated playing Michigan or Ohio St.'s schedule. He said Clemson would be 3rd in the Big Ten East, meaning he thinks they would lose to Michigan and Ohio St. He wasn't saying Clemson would lose to Maryland or Penn St.

I'm still trying to figure out how that guy still has a job honestly. He's unbearable to listen to when he's calling a game (as in he really does not have a sports announcer voice) and he just throws out nonsense consistently. Can't think of a bigger clown than him really.
