I think we take this dude for granted. Sure, he gets his shout out's, but not enough. He just makes plays all day every day. If you need a 3rd down play, throw to hunter. If your punt returner is muffing it, put in Hunter to take over. If you want to win a Natty, throw to Hunter. I can't remember the last time he dropped a ball that was thrown in his hemisphere. ( BTW) I'm not Hunter Renfrow, nor am I a family member or have ever met him

I had someone bring this up after the game and all of the pens it’s we’re talking. Hunter is one of, if not the most, reliable player we have on the team. He makes outstanding catches, is a great blocker and gets a lot of yards following the catch yet you seldom here anyone talking about him on any of the broadcasts

Hunter is one of those players that I will look back on in 40 years and think of as one of the greats at Clemson.
I'll be 80 and walking with a walker and say to some young folks "yeah so and so is a good player and all but y'all should have seen Renfrow in his day!"

Not sure how many people here follow the college football board on Reddit, but that place is loaded with fans from every team around the nation. Hunter is extremely well known among other fan bases. Lots of college football fans really like him.

When we need 5-8 yards on third down, ESPN guys have started calling it "3rd and Renfrow".
Took them til his 5th year to figure that out.

Kid literally does it all. His hands are the best I've ever seen... Now, why doesn't he return all punts? We only put him back there after a disaster-- it's very annoying. Just have him return punts all the time. Enough.

He was Dabo’s coach at Bama, has been one of his mentors, and is still on staff. Referring to Renfrow he said, “I’ve been coaching for 47 years, and pound for pound as a football player he’s the best I’ve ever been around.”
Ring of Honor material for sure. Football, academics, life - the kid has it figured out and conquers every day with an awesome attitude.

I doubt there's a soul outside his family, friends and team that love him anymore than me. Average size, a little fleshy and dead serious about everything he does. That was me when I finally grew up but I was late 20s when that happened.
It delights my heart to see him work, play, live and love. He's due a wonderful life.

Old man here - first post - graduated 1983 - always missed those teams; esp. Our Soccer Recruits as kickers - almost had a real heart attack this cuse game - reminded me of the CU vs. UNC game 1981 as seen in person - whew!
Renfro just keep coming. Very consistently - something that has often been a bit rare over my years of loving CU football.
