We’ll do whatever is necessary with the bullpen (hopefully not much) to win Wednesday.
Then Knaak goes against Nancy on a full 7 days rest.
Then he gets 9 days rest before pitching the Saturday game of the regional.
Go Tigers!!!

They have several options and Darden hasn’t pitched in a while.

Wednesday is a must win to host a regional (in my opinion). We have played ourselves out of having any luxury at this point. Win 1 game and we are most likely hosting a regional. Never play for tomorrow in a single elimination bracket! Better throw whatever is your best available on Wednesday. The offense scored against a Pitt team that was only trying to improve its seeding from a 13 to like an 11? They were not burning starters very deep in any game. I'm not convinced this past weekend fixes a season worth of poor offensive stats. We shall see???

I don’t think either one is a walkover.
I think we have other pitchers who can beat them, especially if we get the run support that would should get.
And there’s no reason to put Knaak out there on short rest after throwing over 100 pitches.
