I truly believe BV will be back at Clemson in the next few years. He still owns a house in Tigertown. Nick Eason will be the placeholder at DC until then. Goodwin is gone. Go Tigers!!!!

Why in GODS NAME would ANYONE hire Nick Eason as defensive coordinator?! He has SO much experience! SMH. It’s someone like Phil Parker, Nick Saban, or ANY proven DC or nobody! We’ve already seen what promotion someone without experience looks like.

Yes, I like Nick too. But, his DL is part of the problem. Pass rushing discipline isn’t there. Gap integrity isn’t there. Just can’t get behind him as anything other than a asst position coach.

I guess the fact that Deshaun, Trevor, ETN and others who played when Venables was here make no difference. Hard for kids to see the forest for the trees.
