My 93 y/o father in law is in the hospital. He put my Sister in Law through Clemson years ago. He's a WWII vet and retired US Marine. He's been battling a few things since before Thanksgiving. We're on the other side of the country (my sis in law lives overseas now), and are all traveling for the Holidays to see him (we were there over thanksgiving too.)
It's a long rough road, and we hope he pulls through. But if ya'll could say a little prayer for healing and comfort tonight, the family would appreciate it.

Interesting side note. During the war, he and lots of this fellow marines in the pacific islands, lost their teeth because they didn't have tooth brushes or tooth paste for them. He's basically had dentures his whole life. I've never heard him complain about it. So when people speak of the sacrifices of service, these are the things they are talking about.
