Says he’s not getting enough playing time and isn’t the leader of the defense like he needs to be

Bear Alexander Is drama queen. A mental mess.

He couldn’t even behave under the UGA bulldogs.

Kid has all the maturity of a three-year-old.

I wouldn't call it a "red shirt". It's called quitting. And if you quit, you don't deserve to be with the team or share in any of the program's benefits. Seems to me that if you refuse to play, you also owe Southern Cal a boatload of tuition, room & board, and fee money.

I know this is a very small percentage of this happening, but does anyone think this will make some teams start to think twice before taking some portal players? I know we have the Kirbys and Deions that ate win at all costs but what about the larger majority?

That's something I have wondered about myself. Will these collectives start requiring a certain metric in order for the player to receive their money? That could be x playing time, x accomplishments, I don't know, but something for the money being paid out, and if they aren't getting it, the kids aren't getting their money.

The boosters for NIL are getting 0 return on investment, even if their team wins the Natty. They get 0 financial return. Some can afford to toss around the money, many can't over the long term. I don't personally see it as sustainable long term for most teams. Revenue sharing I think will be the great equalizer here.

Eventually these rich backers are going to get tired of giving money to greedy players and seeing nothing substantial in return. No matter how much you spend (aTm), only 1 team can win it all each year.

yep after many years they have the goose that lays the golden egg and they want to wreck it. Good luck finding a new school to put up with these antics.

Heaven forbid that the dude actually EARNS IT. Go sit on the bench then.

These players are turning out to be a bunch of entitled babies.

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?
• Boss

Right this is way crazier than money imo, you can’t expect to just be labeled a leader 🤣🤣🤣

Bear might not understand this, but his biggest issue is not related to playing time or redshirting, etc.

His biggest problem is the reputation he has created. He did some horrible things while he was in Athens and these were swept under the rug. UGA & USC never gonna talk about this.

Other college teams and NFL scouts definitely taking note of how he handles himself. This dude might soon make himself untouchable. Self-inflicted.

Don't be a quitter, stop b!thcing and moaning about it, work harder, and get better.

The kid bounced around to multiple high schools before landing at IMG (his fifth school in four years). Starting to look like the pattern may continue throughout college.

Quitters never win and winners never quit!

I am so glad we Dabo doesn't try to pull kids like this into our program.

Sep 26, 2024, 9:00 AM

Suffering people like that with attitudes like that isn't worth it.
