Fine, I am ok with anyone liking him just like those that like music I don't or tv shows I don't.

Since he joined Gameday (what's that..2 years? 3?), I haven't watched an hours worth of it total. It's only redeeming features are Herbie, Herbies dog, and sometimes Saban. I've found it easier to just sleep right through until game time.
Mcafee is just annoying.
Also, not a boomer.

I am definitely not jealous of him. I also respect the life he has built for himself. It's great. I think he is genuinely a good person. I think he is a cheeseball though, that his show sucks, and co-hosts suck. I think his shtick is just lame. I am more of a sports guy and not fake wrestling guy. You like fake wrestling, so maybe that's why you like him. I am not a Banana Ball guy either. I am just a purest with sports. He just doesn't do sports talk for me. He would probably be fun to drink beers with though, but his input on sports sucks imo.

Had a sister of a garage bar regular visit recently who went to high school with him. She confirmed he is a very nice guy….
But that he’s always been a massive attention #####.
That’s why people don’t like him. No one is jealous of him. The day I wake up wanting to be that, I hope someone shoots me. There are plenty of people doing his job for more money and no one is hating on them.
I think YOU are jealous of people like him which is why you worship them.

I've said in this forum before, every circus needs a clown. He is what he is. I think he's hilarious on Gameday. He panders to the crowd and they love him for it. And he usually interacts well with whomever the guest picker is that day. While I appreciate all the other hosts input about X's and O's and the customary tear jerker piece, you can't fill up 2 hours with just that.
I haven't watched much of his show because, you know, working. But I'm not a fan of any of the every day talking head sports shows.
I get the energy. Jealous? IDK, getting to travel around the country stopping at some great venues of college football for a party all season? nah, not jealous at all.
