As far as I am concerned, no school can pay Dabo what he's worth; he's priceless! I am so very thankful that he chooses to coach for Clemson!! Folks, he is a very rare gem!!!

The state tax payers do not pay his salary. It does not come out of funds designated to the University. It comes from IPTAY, markets, life donors and many other gift organizations of Clemson University. You are not paying anything towards his salary unless you are an IPTAY member or donated some other way

That kind of money. ...regardless of where the funds come from.
Most of these schools are publicly funded.
All of these schools are institutions of higher education.
Thsee megamillion contacts are just another drop down the slippery slope of turning these schools into the minor league for the nfl.

Then how should coaches' salaries be determined? This is the free market at work. It may or may not be a sad commentary on what we as a society value highly, but people, including you, me, and Dabo Swinney are paid exactly what they are worth.

Love Dabo, Coaches, and staff! The President and the AD are doing a great job in cultivating the School in Academics and Sports also! So I think Dabo deserves every Penny of his Contract. If they need to tweak the others I mentioned that will be well deserved also! Dabo doesn't make Saban or Harbaugh Money, but they aren't the National Champs either!!!!!!
