Honestly, I think it has more to do with offenses trying to hit quick passes to negate the rush.
The few times UGA tried to go deep we were all up in Beck's face. Same for App State.
Basically, if you play Clemson you're calling play action at your own risk.

Gotta find a way to get Woods back on the inside in my opinion.
320 lbs should never be in a 2 point stance covering up the tight end.
Not sure who the answer is at DE.

He will dominate many tackles and seal the edge but as quick as he is he isn't fast enough to outrun a RB to the boundary so it seems like the benefit is lost.

If I'm an OC and see 300+ on the outside we're going sideline to sideline in the first half. I'm trying to gas your guy with change of direction, TE chips (ABOVE THE WAIST APP STATE) and getting around the outside edge. If your LB's want split out and help pound it up the middle. Second half he's most likely sucking wind with his hands on his hips.

I think it has more to do with Georgia being the best team ever and our starters only playing 2 quarters against the Mouseketeers.

The DC at Clemson doesn't blitz enough. Too much 3-man rushes and 8 guys in the secondary. That scheme almost never works. Yes, it's sad because the talent is there. I'm not sold on Wes Goodwin as as DC. Like I have stated once before after the Georgia game: fire BOTH Coordinators and get some experienced
coordinators from other Power 5 schools like they did when Brent Venables from Oklahoma arrived. I don't trust Riley or Goodwin.

I'm not sure it's a fair assessment after most of our D-line starters were out midway through the 2d quarter. If you leave your studs in to lay on the App State O-line you wear them down. With them playing from behind and having to pass you could blitz heavy in the second half and either force more turnovers or get the sacks. I don't think comparative analysis based on UGA and App State is going to show much other than you're not the #1 team yet but you're not mid team in the Sun Belt. NC State will set a better benchmark. Beat them and you can legitimately claim to be on track to take the ACC.

I didn't expect many against Jawja's NFL-caliber O Line, for sure. App State definitely tried to get the ball out early to avoid the sack.
