Its not like he wasnt getting chances. He started quite a few games. I MIGHT be able to understand transfering if he was being held back. New coach coming in. Considerable opportunities to play.

There are exceptions and certain programs trigger the exception clause and South Carolina is at the top of that list!

I met his dad at a Clemson/SC game in Greenville last season. It was his son’s freshman year, and found out he grew up a Tiger fan but did get offered by SC first and was ecstatic when Monte texted him. Seemed like he had a solid upbringing just in conversation. Dad was a proud man I will say that, which I cannot imagine the level of pride I would have had if my son played any sport for Clemson.
Hate he is going there but figured with his diminished role he would transfer out. It has got to be some sort of mental deal with him. He could knock the cover off the ball when he could make contact.

Speaking from knowing several players that have been recruited by Monte and See, and committed to Clemson: Monte and See were fantastic recruiters for Clemson, really good at relating to these young men and telling them what they wanted to hear. They get to Clemson and the love fest stopped. The lack of development and skill advancement by these coaches was stunning. The past 2 years Monte and staff have been worried about their jobs, little communication with the players. Meanwhile, the players never know when or if they’re playing/pitching, confusion on if they will be “allowed” to play summer ball. I expected Brewer to transfer, whether or not Monte was fired. I hope he does well in his baseball career but I hope his new team crashes and burns as always.

Clemson/NC in Charlotte I was sitting behind the dugout and never seen him speak to anyone. I didn’t watch him 24/7 but every time I did look he just stood by himself.

Reading the comments regarding this young man is like listening in on a grammar school gossip group.
At least he committed to Clemson and played for Clemson while many others did not. He is following his dream and for whatever reason he feels that dream can better be achieved at another school. It just so happens that school is Chickenville. So what.
