We can't have Oregon St/Coastal in the final, so I guess I'll root for Oregon St./UCLA.

Haven't looked at the brackets but I'd like to see coastal and hopefully Duke. Ucla is sneaky good. But, they were fortunate in their regional... and the supers.

Arkansas is good. Still hard to believe with knaak pitching and mahlstedt shouldn't have been used in the upstate game. Water under the bridge. Unc and fsu both had coaching blunders too.

Anyway, I think Arkansas is most likely the team to beat.

The 7 teams that all ready punched their ticket to Omaha are,
Louisville who will play Oregon State next
Arizona who play Coastal
LSU who will play Arkansas
And finally UCLA will play the winner of Duke/Murray State today.

I also agree that Arkansas is the team to beat. It’s kinda funny that the SEC will be put in a tough position with the only 2 Sec schools facing off in one of the first games of the CWS. No matter what happens one Sec school will be put in the losers bracket next weekend. Where as if Duke can win today then the ACC has a chance for both ACC squads to advance to the winners bracket. Since the 2 acc schools wouldn’t be playing each other in the first games.

Compared to the ACC-SEC challenge of last year’s CWS this one has a great variety of teams, including three from what was the PAC 12/14 who are all now in three separate affiliations. D1 and Baseball America rankings are always overloaded with SEC-ACC.
