A touch of gout in the middle of my right foot has me kinda crippled right now.
First time in a couple years.
DMSO and Advil will knock it out in a couple days.

DMSO is good.
I discovered it in the 80's when my plantar went north on me.
My entire foot and ankle would swell.
DMSO would take that down in minutes, and I could train.

Oh, sometimes if prolonged I soak my feet in water with Epsom salt & Apple Cider Vinegar.
Main thing is stop drinking alcohol or eating Purine laden foods.
You Boy have some excess URIC ACID (UA) build-up.

I had plantar fascitis last year and that ain't no joke !
Not sure how bad Gout is but if it's anything like PF , I hate it for ya , brother.

A couple friends had surgery - did not work.
I once took off an entire month off back when I was doing ten mile runs most days.
After a month - no real improvement.

Whew Tug I had gout in my middle finger last week. Some of the worst pain I have ever experienced. I feel your pain man. Hope it calms down soon!

See if someone nearly has some Colchicine. I have Pseudogout, but it is treated the same way as gout. When I feel the slightest ting in my foot, I take 2 Colchicine and a Aleve, and then later in the day take another Colchicine. If it has gotten too far then it takes a couple of days, but I still can get around OK. I buy my Colchicine from Canada, as it has been taken off the shelves here and replaced with Colchrys and the price raised something like 1250%. I get like 200 pills from Canada for about $90.
