Rittman is not developing talent. Duncan has great pitching talent but he doesn’t give her a chance. Yet he sticks with McCubban, who is mediocre.

I thought the Coot coach hire was supposed to upgrade defense? Forget her name.

Maybe they are being developed and they aren't that talented and he is working with what he has.

That maybe true. But you got to give them a chance. He is not developing depth based on the lineups over the last two weekends.

There was something very alarming with our team last year but he had talent then. With most the same talent that played better the seasons before pointed to coaching issues. I don't know exactly what the exact issues were/are but anyone that wasnt concerned about this upcoming season hadnt paid close enough attention. While Rittman has earned some rebuilding grace for his hot start, I do feel like he should not be given multiple years of grace. We had success, have great fandom, great facilities and should have no issue getting talent that only leaves the coaching to question.

Agreed, too many defensive errors with a veteran team last year. These have gotten exponentially worse this year, it's hard to watch.

We had a unicorn in Cagle that's why we had success....you saw what happened after she was injured. We were very average.

If there is a problem, it is we are not recruiting well enough.

The six freshmen that are starting are very talented. Coaching may be the problem but you need elite pitchers if you would like to win in softball. Until we get that, we will struggle.

I’m not sure some of you realize that NIL is a thing in softball too. We are giving zero NIL. SEC schools are paying small signing bonuses. An elite level freshman pitcher can get $100k plus.

Why not wait till the last out, then start the tar and feather parade. Now go rip someone a new one over a 14-8 win.
