“Fine bomb” would like nothing better than for Clemson to go away and quit competing for players the mighty SEC wants! Dream on Finebaum! Go Tigers!

I know I'm a huge minority but I've looked at Paul's comments over these years as a good thing. If one really looks from the outside, he's actually been very complimentary of Dabo. He's not wrong about the fans over the years... but in essence he's always thought after the 18 game that Dabo could be a nick Saban program. Is that such a bad thing?
Enjoying your posts LBB. You little dancing sugarbear.

They are a little closer to home. Don't ever compare us to Nebraska. Dabo has made some bone head moves but he is not fumbling the ball from the one and throwing pick sixes.

Orgeron? What about Fisher? What about Mack Brown? What about Chisick? Other than those three there are no others coaching that have even accomplished anything of Dabo's caliber. Smart is still on his roll and Saban has not had a hiccup. Dabo's last completed season was a conference champ that won 11 games. So Saban is basing it all on one season? Finebaum gets personal with Dabo and has been for a long time. I would sure love to know what made him get that way. And it is personal. Notice, no interviews will Dabo give him on his show. You know he would love to interview Dabo, or some of our players. I wish ill on Finebaum too.

Well, Like it or not! Finebaum is preaching a good sermon here. Everyone must take heed to it. Recruiting elite players is essential to every playoffs-caliber football program and Clemson has been lazy in the recruiting efforts for the past 3 years. There are no NFL 1st rounders on this current roster. Maybe a couple defensive players would be late round draft picks in the NFL. The reality is the coaches are paid to recruit the best to the team and coach them up when they are on the team. They are not doing neither.

you may not like the messenger but the message couldn't be more right. I hope Dabo can turn this ship around and prove Finebaum wrong but all I see from him is a stubborn reluctance to admit any failure with the process he's developed into. I still go back to the Duke pregame when the sideline reporter asked him what change will we see in offense with the hire of Riley. And his answer was an offended, irritated "we are gonna run what we've always run, Clemson offense". I turned to those watching with me and said, "Oh no, buckle up boys, nothing is going to change". Sadly, I was right. That comment makes me suspect coach Swinney is not letting Riley be the coach. It's hard for me to believe this OC coming from a sling happy conference is running such an innovate less scheme. If I'm wrong and this look is Riley's game, then he needs to go immediately season's end. And some others with him.

Not surprised that elephant ears Finebaum is saying this but remember he had to eat crow when Clemson beat Bama soundly in the CFP.

I have never understood how Paul Finebaum gets any audience, views, clicks, attention, phone calls, etc.
The dude is a whiny old fart. He was years ago and he still is.
He doesn’t have very good commentary or analysis.
Last time i listened to his show a couple years ago I just remember his commentary was bland and worthless, but he did have some callers, that might’ve been nuts, but we’re pretty darn entertaining.
Paul was a regional guy until Harvey Updike brought him to a national stage.

Y’all may not like Finebum, and he has certainly said things about us in the past that we’re absolute garbage, but he is not wrong about this. The ones here who are not in denial about the current state of our program know he is right.

44-16 whipping the team he said was the best ever, he’s never ever forgot the crow we made him eat!
Every dog has his day! 98% of college football would trade their results the last decade with what Dabo has done.
I don’t understand why a coach can’t always win all the games. We are judged the way we judge others. Dabo gave all to make this program great in all areas, he’s by far the best coach we’ve ever had and a top 5 best ever college coach considering where he started.
I love all the coots coming to dog Dabo out here while they have been bragging that Shane Beamer was like Dabo…lol 🤣😂
I doubt Shane will ever be like Dabo but I believe people can change probably not at SC though.
We may not be happy with Dabo but some of you long time Tiger fans are ruthless and down right mean to him, I hope and pray you don’t treat your family that way. Dabo gave his part of his salary up when he was making way below pay grade to make sure his assistants were happy to stay with him.
Have any of you who are complaining now ever given up a dime to your team at work?
Dabo has earned the fans trust, fans shouldn’t act like he’s their slave to decide his earning his pay etc.
No one coach has ever built the Clemson brand like Dabo has with a vision. I hope he doesn’t leave after learning who many of the fans are and their true colors after he was working so hard to make every facet of the program to be great.
Respect is earned!

Who is Finebaum? He's a second rate mouthpiece for the SEC who is the Jerry Springer of Sports Talk TV. He actually thinks that he imparts some earth shattering wisdom that only he can provide. Let me tell you who Finebaum is. He's a little weasel that profits from AND enjoys any cheap, phony controversy he can create to keep his paycheck coming. Sadly in today's culture, he has plenty of people willing to buy in. He's a little man with a Napoleonic complex and very limited knowledge and minimal talent.

Why do we even post this loser’s opinion on our Blog. Who cares what he pontificates about? He just one of the typical, “I never did anything myself, so I’ll criticize those who do or try.”
It’s one thing to talk within our family about our problems we will fix. It’s another to publish some “anti” Clemson fellows words.

Who cares what that TURD munch says. He just enjoys getting the clicks from all the idiot Clemson “fans” that want a 2 Time National Champion coach run out of town. These same idiots are too stupid to realize NO coach would want to touch this program after seeing the way cooterville, I mean Clemson, fans react to 1 potential bad season!!

I don't like Paul Finebaum one but, but he's not wrong here. And in fact he was quite complimentary of it, or at least not his usual shock value self. He pointed out the obvious, and was just real about it. But he's leaving out a major part of the issue - the coaching staff hires.
Brent Venables is a legendary coach. Its not easy replacing the guy who truly was the greatest in this era if not all time. Wes is a good coach, and we can win with him, but he's no Brent V. But that isn't the spot where it was off (though there could be some consideration if he's the right hire, there is a lot of talent on this defense and it is probably what is keeping him clean).
Jeff Scott and Tony Eliot were a historic duo and when they left, that is where the real problems began. We lost no only a dynamic duo at OC but we lost a great WR and RB coach. And frankly, we replaced them with subpar picks. Spiller has had major issues in his RB room, and it was apparent when Lyn J Dixon was practically escorted off of the team. Shipley has shown the same frustration with him, and lets face it, Mafah is great and should have been getting more touches and from what I have seen from Quadzilla, he is legit too. But 3rd & gaol from the 1 and to not run it up the gut with Mafah or Quadzilla (in several situations from last week vs NC State at the end or vs Miami where Will fumbled it) is very telling.
Grisham... I don't like bashing these guys, but this is not even close to a satifactory WR coach at this level. We have had a major talent drop off from a developmental stance, and this is why. WRs not getting seperation, not running good routes, and not catching the ball. You can look at this coach for ALL of these issues. He has got to go ASAP, and I really hate saying it.
O-line... Its not even pedestrian any more, they are letting presure get to Cade with a 3 man rush. That is just embarrassing. And this was supposed to be a GOOD LINE, lol... Again no development, bad schemes, and just... we look weak. THere is no push. THere is no pocket. Its no wonder Cade is running around making mistakes, he can't trust the line.
Then the QB room. I don't doubt Cade's talent or potential, but he is undisciplined. He is not developing, to be the number 1 QB coming out of high school, and to look like this just shows that he is not being coached right and is relying on his own insticts which are getting him in trouble and forcing turnovers. We saw the same thing with DJ, and now Cade. Maybe its not them at this point and it is the QB Coach. If we put Viz out there or Helms out there, it would likely be the same thing.
We lost some good coaches to the recent changes, and the hires were not up to par to replace what we lost. Couple that with the other issues - Not using the Portal or NIL, and this is where we are. Its not just the fans saying it anymore, its the entire country.
Change is needed. If Dabo can't do it, then we need to start to look into his replacement. And I don't want that.

First Paul Finnebaum better keep his day job because he’s not model quality because of his elephant ears. No tv slots do you dumbo. Paul it is so easy to criticize a team. You glorify Alabama because you worship Saban. Most of your listeners are Alabama fans. Clemson fans think that you suck.
